Who it's for

The cohort is for the person everyone counts on. You're competent, reliable, probably praised, and you've read enough to name your own patterns, though naming them hasn't changed much. You're too functional for anything clinical to catch, and coaching that asks you to optimize harder misses the point entirely.

If praise slides off you, if rest feels more like standing guard than relief, or if you can explain exactly why you do what you do and still do it, you're who I built the cohort for.

What happens

Eight weeks, one 90-minute group call a week on video, with 6 to 8 people. We set the meeting time together from everyone's availability. Between calls, you'll get one short practice each week in CoachAccountable, small enough to do on a busy Tuesday.

  • Weeks 1–2: The shape of it. Languishing, and the armor that kept you safe and now keeps everything else out, too.
  • Weeks 3–4: The detector and the gap. Where your threat detector got calibrated, and why understanding it hasn't been enough to change it.
  • Weeks 5–6: Safety, noticing, and felt sense. Bringing the alarm down far enough to notice what's actually there.
  • Weeks 7–8: Accommodation and change. Small tests on the axis your fear actually lives on, and a record of what happened when the catastrophe didn't come.

The investment

$1,800, or two payments of $950. Founding cohort pricing applies to the first group only.

What it isn't

The cohort is coaching. It isn't therapy, it doesn't diagnose, and it isn't crisis care. It sits beside clinical care rather than replacing it, and if something you bring belongs on the clinical side of the line, I'll say so plainly and help you find the right person. If you're in crisis right now, call or text 988 (in the US).

About me

I'm an executive coach with two master's degrees, now completing a clinical internship toward a third in clinical mental health counseling. I built Margins of Meaning out of more than 130 field notes on my own patterns, checked against fourteen areas of research.

I'm not going to do the guru thing, where I tell you I've figured everything out and all you have to do is follow the steps. I'll tell you what I know, what the research says, and when I'm not sure.
